Course Description: | This course is designed to introduce participants to Records and Information Management (RIM), as an organisational function responsible for the creation and maintenance of a system to deal with records throughout the records lifecycle. This course will introduce participants to records from the creation to disposal. This course is intended to equip professionals at the entry level Records and Information Management with the technical competencies necessary to successfully support the Records and Information Management process. |
Course Requirements: | Four CXC/CSEC passes at the General Proficiency Grades 1 - 111, or 4 City and Guilds subjects ranges 3 - 5, or NCTVET Certificate in Records Information Management Level 3, or NCTVET Administrative Assistance Level 3
Applicants who are currently employed in RIM roles identified in the target audience but do not meet the minimum qualification requirements shall be considered for acceptance on the following basis: 1. Minimum 3 years experience in a RIM role/function 2. Submits a letter of recommendation form his/her supervisor 3. Submits a current Job Description. |
