Course Description:
Performance Coaching within the public service represents a major paradigm shift. The success of a change of such a magnitude is contingent on the effective execution of both the technical and behavioural aspects of the change. This workshop has been designed to equip participants to understand and apply the GROW Model of performance coaching. It is also geared towards positioning participants to serve as champions for the transition to a coaching culture. Given the importance of on-the-job learning, along with the people component as well as the fact that coaching is an integral element in managing employee performance, it is absolutely critical that managers/leaders master this skill. This course therefore explores coaching fundamentals to enable leaders to effectively execute their role in managing performance.
