This course was designed to develop essential personal and social skills to facilitate greater self-awareness and better understanding of others. Participants will gain insight as to how Emotional Intelligence supports individual and organisational goals and how it will also facilitate self-management and relationship building. The course will equip participants with the applicable tools to increase personal and social skills to enhance both personal and organizational success.
Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to: • Be aware of emotionally intelligent behaviours • Discuss social responsibility and how it supports an organisation’s goals and individual goals. • Apply tools to increase personal skills: self-awareness and self-management of personal emotions. • Apply tools to increase social skills: recognizing the emotions in others and responding to those emotions. • Assess one’s personal emotional quotient.
