Course Description: | The MIND Environmental Managementcourse is designed to respond to the urgent and critical need for leaders in public, private and other sectors to undertake and play a lead role as Environmental Stewards in the strategic mission of creating and sustaining a responsible and socially responsive programme in the care and management of the
environment. This course is aligned to the Government of Jamaica’s National Sustainable Development Framework - Vision 2020 – which is an initiative spearheaded by the Cabinet Office and comes within the context of continued efforts at the national and international levels to promote effective mechanisms for achieving sustainable development goals. The content is also aligned with the Jamaica National Environmental Action Plan (JaNEAP) 2006-2009 which is managed by the National Environmental and Planning Agency (NEPA). |
