  • Evaluates and employs process analysis tools and reviews the work completed by IAUs.
  • Assists IAUs in employing the relevant forecasting (statistical) tools, optimisation and benchmarking techniques and applies them correctly within a specific engagement.
  • Employs varying research techniques to assist auditors in carrying out their duties.
  • Assists with monitoring the internal audit function and its impact on the Government of Jamaica’s operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Develops Quality Assurance programme (IT/VFM/etc.) to foster the development of the IAUs in GoJ.
  • Evaluates and employs process analysis tools and reviews the work completed by IAUs.
  • Appraises or designs audit work program to review the Quality Assessment process within the IAUs.
  • Comprehends and interprets an expert’s conclusions and validates their work.
  • Monitors the internal audit function and its impact on the Government of Jamaica’s operational effectiveness and efficiency.
